will be consumed, nor will we throw any objects from our entry during the
parade and in support of Frontier Days, Inc., we will require all participants
of our organization/entry to use good safety precautions during our
participation.
In the case of an accident or damages incurred, Frontier
Days, Inc. will in no way be held responsible.

PARADE RULES & REGULATIONS
All parade entries must be
pre-registered. No walk-in’s will be accepted. It is your responsibility to
register!
Parade entry must line up in the
space they have been assigned.
Drivers and all vehicles
participating in the parade must have insurance and posses a valid driver’s
license.
Judging:
Judging is done as your unit
passes through designated judging area. A panel of judges will be looking for
three areas of perfection: 1. THEME, 2. APPEARANCE and 3. ORIGINALITY. If you
want your float to be judged, it must be stated on your completed application. No
commercial advertisement on judged floats. ABSOLUTELY NO STOPPING TO DO
ROUTINES!! The total scores will be tallied, and the final score will
determine the awards.
Decorated vehicles do not
qualify as floats and cannot have the application fee waived or be judged in
the float category. Float: a large,
flat vehicle bearing an exhibit theme of the Parade
Awards:

NOTICE: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS TO BE THROWN OR PASSED OUT.
Due to the increase danger of
children and adults being hurt by moving vehicles and lack of understanding
entrants of the dangers , parade participants will no longer be able to
distribute or pass anything our along the parade route. This is for the safely
of all involved. As an alternative we will provide a space at the festival
grounds for parade participants to distribute handouts upon the completion of
the parade
Absolutely no stopping for any
rein unless directed by an officer or parade volunteer. Walking and performing
units must keep up. Violators will be asked to leave the parade and will not be
permitted to return the following year. Special request will be considered on
an individual basis.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES ALLOWED ON VECHILES OR FLOATS. Violators will be immediately
eliminated from parade.
ANIMALS: if approved by the FD
Committee, All animals must have updated vaccinations and be in good medical
health. FD is not responsible for cleaning up after the animals. You must
provide someone to immediately clean up after the animals.
NOTE: The Frontier Days Committee reserves the right to
determine if any entry is appropriate and to grant them parade space. The
Frontier Days Committee also reserves the right to determine at what entry
level a participant is to be charged.

display it on the left front of your entry, this includes marching units. Thank
